Prem, played by Salman Khan is always there for his friends and family and would do anything for them to get them out of trouble. Thus, he helps his childhood school friend Khushi, played by Zarine Khan elope with her lover Raju, played by Ajay Devgn. Meanwhile Prem’s family are busy finding him a bride and decide to get him engaged to a girl called Pooja.
They send Prem to receive Pooja at the airport but he is in the least interested in Pooja and purposely goes to the wrong terminal where he meets a girl named Sanjana, who herself has ran away from her own wedding. She then finds out about Prem’s engagement and pretends to be Pooja and goes to meet his parents. She wins his family over but Prem is still confused.
Meanwhile, her wicked uncles who want to get her married to their respective brother-in-laws to attain her wealth are tracing Sanjana. Prem and Sanjana truly happen to fall in love and Prem learns of her true identity. He must now win her family over and convince them to get them both married.
