Anand is a established and hard working businessman. He is successful but has a dark secret that no one knows about. He enjoys seducing pretty and innocent girls and then killing them and then planting a red rose over their grave in his backyard. All this is watched by his adoptive father who is also a woman hater and gets pleasure from seeing them tortured and dead. One day he meets the beautiful Sharda who works as an undergarment saleswoman. He tries to woo her but she is conservative and suggests that if their romance is ever to progress he must marry her. Reluctanly Anand agrees. On the wedding day however things go horribly wrong when Sharda stumbles upon a diary where Anand’s misdeeds and murders are mentioned. He had already mentioned that his father is mentally stable and she must stay away from him. He
however notices Sharda and she quickly locks him into the room. Meanwhile Anand comes home and chases her to the graveyard where he finally gets arrested. The film is directed by Bharathi Raja and produced by M P Jain,Ravi Kumar. The music is composed by R D Burman. The
star cast includes Rajesh Khanna, Poonam Dhillon, Satyen Kappu, Om Shivpuri, Roopesh Kumar, Keshto Mukherji, Manmaujee, Mayur and Aruna Irani.
