Arvind, played by Vivek Oberoi and Laxmi, played by Antara Mali are deeply in love but their families oppose their union and are totally against them getting married. So left with no choice the couple elopes to get married in Arvind’s ancestral house in Rajasthan. They go by road in his car and pass a desert. They then spot a hitchhiker named Babu, played by Manoj Bajpayee. He seems genuine and harmless so they give him a lift. This would probably be the biggest mistake of their life as Babu is a crazy psychopath. He starts behaving strange after a few minutes and abducts Laxmi. The couple is horrified. They fight him off with the help of a truck driver but he seems to always resurface to attack them.
Meanwhile cops are on their way to nab Babu but he manages to evade them. He then kidnaps Laxmi and takes her to a bunglow and kills the caretaker there. Meanwhile Arvind reaches there with cops. However Babu who has a gun attacks and kills two police officers and has one last bullet, which he informs Laxmi he will kill Arvind with but she makes him miss his shot. Arvind beats up Babu and they leave him to die in the desert.
The movie is directed by Rajat Mukherjee and produced by Ram Gopal Varma. The music is composed by Amar Mohile, Sandesh Shandilya and Nitin Raikwar.
