Ranbir Kapoor plays the role of Janardan Jakhar A.K.A Jordon who falls in love at the very first sight of Heer Kaul played by Nargis Fakhri who is the most popular and prettiest girl in his college. He tries talking to her and conveying his love for her at every given opportunity but faces rejection every time.
Finally when he moves out of her way and starts ignoring her she notices him and begins a friendship. There on they start realizing how tormented they are in their separate personal lives and start confiding in each other. They both start falling in love with each other but Heer’s wedding is already fixed and she goes through with her marriage and moves to Prague.
Jordon is heartbroken and cannot get over Heer and follows his passion to become a musician only to get to Prague to find an opportunity to meet Heer. Their love story unfolds when Heer is visibly unwell and unhappy in her marriage.
Rockstar is directed by Imtiaz Ali and produced by Dhilin Mehta and the music is composed by A.R. Rahman.
