Kabir, played by John Abraham is a simple but lonely man who runs a pawnshop in Goa. He is content living a very empty and boring life. His neighbor is Anna, played by Nathalia Kaur who is dances at a local bar and is a drug addict. She has a little daughter Naomi who is friends with Kabir. On a tip-off, the anti-narcotics department cops raid Anna’s apartment who is connected to drug lord Mantoo and his aides.
One night Anna along with her partners steals drugs from Mantoo and hides it in a camera that she pawns to Kabir. The henchmen break into Anna’s house and torture her for the package and finally recover it from Kabir when they warn him that Naomi and Anna are captives with them. Kabir later goes to deliver the package to Mantoo and on returning finds the mutilated body of Anna in his car.
Kabir is arrested and taken for questioning. The cops realize that Kabir was a former RAW agent and also a Special Forces Soldier who gave up his career when his pregnant wife was brutally murdered. He escapes the cops and goes after the kingpin and his aids at a club where he gets shot but survives.
On assuming that Naomi has also been murdered, Kabir goes to commit suicide but on seeing the happy girl run towards him, he stops. He is arrested by the police and asks Naomi to manage on her own till he returns from jail.
