Uday Rathod, played by Irrfan Khan is a police officer who is known for his unique investigations and case solving abilities. He is assigned the investigation of the murder of a model names Maya Solomon, played by IIene Hamann. Three people become prime suspects in the case, one is journalist Harsh, Ali, a millionaire and Shyamoli, who is Ali’s business partner. They all have been involved with Maya before she died. Uday goes to Maya’s house to do further investigation and get more information on her. He falls in love with her image, where in she was in love with Ali but left him due to his womanizing ways.
One day when Uday is at Maya’s house she appears in front of him. He is shocked to see her and she explains that on the night of her murder, Ali was with another woman called Neena, who was killed thinking it was Maya and all thought Maya was dead. Uday has a soft corner for Maya and believes that she isn’t the killer of Neena and asks her to escape but she refuses. Later is learnt that Harsh was the one who murdered Neena thinking it was Maya.
The movie is directed by Himanshu Brahmbhatt and produced by Pooja Bhatt. The music is composed by M.M Kreem. The cinematography is by Anshuman Mahaley.
