Vijay lives a wealthy lifestyle and is an aspiring painter. One night he gets a dream of a beautiful woman and he decides that he will marry her some day. After waking up, he paints the picture of the woman and then carries it along with him to Himachal Pradesh, where he goes to visit his friend Prakash. Vijay is welcomed by Prakash in his palatial home which he shares with his girlfriend Shalu. One day Vijay meets a beautiful village girl named Sajjo. On a closer look he is shocked to see that she looks exactly like the painting he made. Sajjo and Vijay eventually fall in love and he calls her Roohi. However, little does Vijay know that Sajjo is also the object of affection of two men who will do anything to get her. One of them is non other than his friend Prakash himself. The film is directed by S U Saiyed and produced by M C Sarna and Navin Kapur. The music is composed by Manoj Gyan. The star cast includes Mazhar Khan, Zarina Wahab, Asha Sachdev, Mukesh Khanna, Sudhir Dalvi and Meena Rai.
