Jhanvi, played by Bhumika Chawla belongs to a wealthy yet conservative Haryanvi family from Allahabad. They want her to get married to a boy of their choice. However one day she meets Siddhath and both fall in love. However Jhanvi has a over protective and hot tempered brother called Ganpat who is the strict disciplinarian at home, especially to his sister. Jhanvi and Siddharth keep meeting each other away from the prying and ruthless eyes of her brother. They are constantly on the run to not let him suspect anything.
Ganpat eventually learns of his sisters affair with Siddharth and leaves no stone unturned to make his life a living hell. Both men are strong headed and keep challenging each other in every way possible. But ultimately it is true love that wins all. The movie is directed by Jeeva and produced by Sridevi Kapoor. The music is composed by Himesh Reshammiya and the lyrics are written by Sameer. The choreography is by Raju Subdaram and Ganesh Acharya. The movie dialogues are written by Kamal Pandey. The star cast includes Mahesh Manjrekar, Mukesh Rishi, Vijay Raaz, Goga Kapoor, Ayesha Julka, Shweta Menon and Anjan Srivastava.
