Nitya, played by Tanushree Dutta relocates to Navi Mumbai, after her parents divorce. She now has to struggle with a new life, new job at a call center and above all give up her dream of pursuing MBA in America. She is confused and lost when she meets Ritesh who helps her deal with the new environment. On the other hand Ritesh’s girlfriend is obsessed with luxuries and resents her sisters marriage to a very old school guy. Nitya’s mother meanwhile befriends the colony ladies and joins their kitty party. She tries to sell the shares that her estranged husband has left for her to the ladies.
From soap operas, the women now begin watching the stock market on TV to look for promising investing opportunities. Nitya finds out about the CEO’s deciding to get their children married and hurriedly tells her mother who asks the ladies to buy those stocks which will go up with the marriages. Together they work into the stock business. Nitya’s mother later tells her that her father left her for a younger woman and didn’t want them both to deal with the pressure and people’s gossip so they had to relocate.
