Lallu is separated from his parent and brother at a young age and is brought up by foster parents. As a grown up, he decides to go to Bombay to look for a better job and ends up working as servant for Seth Jamnadas. He is a loyal and dedicated servant. One day Lallu sees Jamnadas’s daughter Sunita in a drunken state in a night club and brings her home safely. When Jamnadas sees this he is impressed that Lallu didn’t take advantage of a drunk girl. He thus decides to get Lallu and Sunita married. She strongly refuses saying that she is in love with Amit. Her father however one day falls sick and on his death bed decides that if Sunita doesn’t marry Lallu, she will get nothing from his estate and property.
Sunita thus reluctantly agrees to marry Lallu but later plans on murdering him with Amit’s help. The plan goes well and Sunita poisons Lallu on her wedding night and his body is thrown off with Amit. Later the death of Lallu is considered suspicious and a police inspector named Vijay, who happens to be Lallu’s look-a-like takes over the case. Turns out the inspector is in fact Lallu and staged his death to teach the couple a lesson. The movie is directed by UmeshMehra and produced by Keshu. The music is composed by Rajesh Roshan and the lyrics are written by DevKohli. The film’s story is written by VedPrakash Sharma. The cinematography is by S Pappu. The star cast includes Akshay Kumar, Mamta Kulkarni, Sadashiv Amrapurkar,Avtar Gill, Mohnish Behl,Anil Nagrath,Sudhir Dalvi,Kishore Bhanushali,Vishwajeet Pradhan, Anjana Gill, Anjana Mumtaz and Dina Pathak.
