Suraj is a brave soldier of the Indian army. He lives with his widowed father and has a young sister Minnie studying in University. One day when Suraj goes to meet his sister at her hostel, he sees her friend Alka and is instantly attracted to her. Soon the two become friends and fall in love. They eventually get married and settle down. However call of duty is something Suraj cannot avoid, and thus he is called for a year long mission. After a while the family gets some tragic news that Suraj has been killed during his mission. Each family member comes to know of the news but doesn’t tell the other. A pregnant Alka too keeps the news to herself and suffers in silence.
Soon Minnie is due to get married to her boyfriend Vijay, but on the day of the marriage she gets abducted by goons. In a shocking twist, Suraj reappears to save his sister. He was alive all this while but couldn’t contact his famlily. They all finally unite. The film is directed by Sikander Bhartee and produced by Jimmy Nirul. The music is composed by Nadeem Shravan and lyrics are written by Sameer. The star cast includes Akshay Kumar, Ashwini Bhave, Anupam Kher ,Alok Nath ,Ronit Roy, Laxmikant Berde,Navneeet Nishan,Mac Mohan,Viju Khote, Ranjitraj, Gurbachan,Balbinder Dhami, Ranjeet, Pankaj Berry and Guddi Maruti.
