Street singers Radha (Zarina Wahab), Sunder (Asrani), and a youngster (Master Jeetu) make a fortune singing and dancing on the streets, particularly in the luxury area near the Taj Mahal Intercontinental Hotel opposite the Gateway of India in Bombay, India. Radha is a down-to-earth woman who is content to work hard and live her life. Sunder, on the other hand, has enormous goals of being rich, wealthy, and famous - and he wants to do it quickly.
