Samrat, played by Rajeev Khandelwal is a private investigator who is put on a very mysterious case. The case being that of Dimpy Singh, played by Madalsa Sharma. She claims that strange things are happening in her garden, like the plants are fading and dying, her horse has bizarrely died of unknown reasons and her father’s health is getting worse day by day in spite of care and proper medicines.
Samrat takes the help of his assistant Chakradhar, played by Gopal Dutt and visits the massive estate of Mahendra Pratap Singh to investigate further. As he begins to dig deeper, he finds that a murder suddenly takes place in their house and things get more and more murkier. Dimply, who is alsomost going to get killed in a car accident is saved by Samrat.
Later they learn that the culprit causing the murders and chaoas is actually Sanjay, who is Mahendra Pratap Singh’s son from his first wife who died. He wanted to avenge his mother’s death. Samrat & Co. is directed and written by Kaushik Ghatak
