Kailash Nath is the bank manager of a reputed bank. The bank’s watchman Shankar has become a close friend of Kailash. They share life’s little anecdotes and their problems together. Kailash then decides to get his son Kishan married to Shankar’s beautiful daughter Sanam. Soon after things take an ugly turn when Kailash meets with an accident and is hospitalized. Soon after he is arrested by the police for embezzlement of a huge amount of cash from the bank. He is given many years in prison. After completing his sentence, when Kailash goes to his house, he is shocked to know that Shankar is the one who had framed him for the crime. The family is also absconding. When Kishan goes to bring his wife Sanam home, her rude and ill-mannered demeanor shocks him.
The movie is directed and produced by Shomu Mukherjee. The music is composed by Anand Malik and the lyrics are written by Anand Malik. The screenplay is written by Tanveer Khan. The star cast includes Salman Khan, Manisha Koirala, Kiran Kumar, Reema Lagoo, Raza Murad, Anand Balraj, Alok Nath, Pradeep Rawat and Ashok Saraf.
