The film is a documentary on Ustad Bismillah Khan, which captures his early life till he became one of the greatest musicians in Indian history. As a 14 year old boy Bismillah used to accompany his uncle and guru Ali Baksh Khan to musical concerts in Allahabad. As he grew up, his knowledge and love for music only doubled and he came to be known as one of the most established and sought after music maestros of India with his music the ‘Shenai’. The film also has stunning visuals of his hometown in Benaras.
The film is directed by Goutam Ghose and the story is written by Ain Rasheed Khan. The star cast includes Ustad Bismillah Khan.
