Many child abductions have baffled the cops for a long time. Without any clues and evidence, the police don’t know who the mystery abductor is and when he will strike again. The case is then handed down to the CBI, where Reet, played by Preity Zinta is asked to handle the case. The suspicion then falls on Lajja Shankar who is a religious fanatic and is rumored to be sacrificing children. She is traumatized with the case as her own brother was shot dead by the police. She then takes the help of a falsely jailed genius Aman, played by Akshay Kumar.
Aman and Reet become close during their interrogation and he sympathizes with her being afraid. Soon they fall in love and he helps her solve the case and name Lajja Shankar red handed. The movie is directed by Tanuja Chandra and produced by Mukesh Bhatt. The star cast includes Ashutosh Rana, Aman Verma, Madan Jain, Vishwajeet Pradhan, Vicky Chopra, Ninad Kamat, Master Jas Trivedi, Master Mazhar, Sanjeev Vatsa, Amardeep Jha and Baby Alia.
