Jwala Singh is an honest and hard workingman, who has devoted most of his life in the country’s independence. Three evil and corrupt men namely; Dharmadhikari, Satyadev and Bhuddhiram hatch a plan to get Jwala out of their way. Thus they frame him for a crime and get him arrested. Jwala pleads innocent but his cries are unheard and he is thrown into jail for several years. Meanwhile the three corrupt government officials are having their way with the system and manipulating it as per their convenience.
Years pass by and Jwala is finally released. He is now desperately looking for Satyadev, Dharmadhikari and Bhuddhiram to take revenge for the wrong for they did to him. Just when he thought his path was clear to avenge himself, the one man who will not let him take law into his own hands is non other than his own son. The film is directed by Desari Narayana Rao and produced by Prasan Kapoor. The music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal and the story is written by Dasari Narayana Rao. The cinematography is by M Kannappa and the dialogues are written by Kader Khan. The star cast includes Jeetendra, Sridevi, Leena Chandrawarkar, Kader Khan, Prem Chopra, Ranjeet, Asrani and Pran.
