Ranjit Singh, played by Sanjay Dutt is a dedicated and celebrated Major in the Indian Army. His bravery and conviction is inspiring for many. When Bakhtawar along with his army of men attack the Indian Army, Ranjit fights them and wont let go, until a blast takes place killing the Army men. Fortunately Ranjit is saved but is captured by Bakhtawar’s men and taken into captivity. They torture and beat him for sensitive classified information on India but he refuses. In the bargain, Ranjit looses his memory and is left to his plight.
Bakhtawar’s father meanwhile feels sorry for Ranjit and releases him. When Ranjit is better he sends him off to India along with a few other soldiers. Unfortunately since he has lost his memory, Ranjit has no idea how to get to his house, where Pammy, played by Tabu, Simran, played by Mahima Chaudhry and his father await his return. Eventually they find him in a government hospital where his family tries to remind him of his past. Simran decides to take Ranjit to the gurudwara where Bakhtawar plants many bombs to kill Ranjit. Eventually his memory comes back and he kills all the bad guys, thus reuniting with his family.
The movie is directed by Raman Kumar and produced by Goldie Tucker. The music is composed by Anand Raj Anand.
