Chanda has been brought up in a rigid and controlled environment where there was nothing like happiness and joy. All she ever saw was struggle, sadness, loneliness and fear. She had never experienced what it was to be loved and appreciated as her aunt Jagdamba never let that happen. Chanda’s marriage then gets fixed with Narendra who is a kind and compassionate man. Suddenly everything changes in Chanda’s life and she is joyous and liberated by her husband’s love. Her aunt however envy’s that she got married into such a peaceful and loving household and wishes her own daughter would be in a place like this. Aunt Jagdamba thus hatches a plan to ruin the peace of
Chanda’s marital life. She lies to her that her mother had died of leprosy and she will pass on the disease to her children too. She makes Chanda give her precious necklace given by her mother-in-law to her to Jagdamba. The film is directed by Govind Moonis and produced by Bishwanath Prasad Shahbadi. The star cast includes Arun Govil, Bharat Bhushan, Sadhana Singh, Shammi, Dina Pathak, Arvind Deshpande and Gulshan Grover.
