Bhavanidevi rules and controls her house with a ironhand. She is the first and last decision maker of the house and nothing can move or breathe without her permission. She lives with her two sons and daughter. When her elder son gets married his wife doesn’t bring in enough dowry and thus is subjected to a lot of abuse and violence. The daughter-in-law lives a life of fear and terror in Bhavanidevi’s house. The youngest son however gets married without his mother’s consent and she is enraged. The new daughter-in-law Durga is however insists on staying in the household. Little does she know that her life will be filled with harassment and oppression, turning her life upside down. The film is directed by Vijay Sadanah, and produced by Chander Sadanah. The music is composed by Kalyanji Anandji. The star cast includes Ashok Kumar, Raj Babbar, Asha Parekh, Reena Roy, Siddharath Kak, Nilu Phule, Devan Verma, Manmohan Krishna, Lalita Pawar, Jayshree T and Guddi Maruti.
