Deepak and Jyoti love each other despite their social differences. Deepak comes from a middle class family, while Jyoti is from a wealthy family. Jyoti’s father is against the marriage and warns her to stay away from him. However the couple relentlessly pursue each other and finally get married, much to her father’s anguish. The newly wed couple live with Deepak’s sister and husband. Deepak is then duped of 2.5 million rupees, which he was advised to invest in real estate. He thus has to sell his ancestral property but that too gets robbed. The funds now have to be replaced within 24 hours.
Just when the couple thought their problems couldn’t get any worse, a wealthy man called Prakash enters their lives. He wants Jyoti to spend the night with him in return for all the money Deepak desires. The couple is now in a dilemma. The movie is directed by Ramesh Modi and produced by Sudhakar Bokade. The music is composed by Adesh Srivastava and the lyrics are written by Raj,Jani, Madan P and Anwar Sagar. The singers in the film include Udit Narayan, Asha Bhosle, Kumar Sanu, Vijeta Pandit and Sonu Nigam. The star cast includes Sumeet Saigal, Neelam, Vikas Bhalla, Saeed Jafri, Dalip Tahil, Ajinkya Deo and Kiran Kumar.
