Dhanpat Rai is a wealthy man and has built his empire on smuggling and illegal activities. He wants to give his children all the happiness that he never was able to get. His daughter Sonia unfortunately falls in love with a police officer and wants to marry him. Soon Dhanpat realizes that his son Vicky too has fallen for a poor girl. His morals now question him what is more important in his life, all his money and status or the wellbeing and happiness of his two children? Dhanpat Rai will get the reply but the hard way. The film is directed by Ramesh Talwar and produced by Yash Chopra. The music is composed by Khayyam and the story is written by Surinder Prakash.
