It’s directed -produced by Mohan Sehgal. This was Rekha, Navin Nischol and Ranjit’s debut film in 1970. Jayshree T and Iftekhar play key roles.
Vikram(Navin Nischol) is from a rich family living in Europe. Sulochana his step mother and Dolly (Jayshree T) his step sister are cunning and greedy and want to acquire all his wealth. He decides to come to India and their plans are spoilt but he trusts them blindly as he is very naïve and a generous human being. On his way home he is abducted by the thugs and Chanda(Rekha) along with her friends save him. They fall in love with each other and plan to get married but unfortunately his family takes objection. There is again a plot to kill him, Chanda believes he is dead but he returns. In the end they all reunite and live as a happy family.
