Aman, played by Aditya Narayan is in love with Kaya, played by Shweta Agarwal. He proposes to her and she accepts but just then they meet with an accident, that nearly kills them both. Kaya’s parents hear of the accident and come to know that Aman had proposed to Kaya. They then reveal the age-old curse on their family. Kaya’s father belongs to an ancient royal family where one of the kings tries to molest a girl in the palace but she escapes and jumps to her death. She was apparently the daughter of a respected royal guru. The furious guru takes revenge by cursing the entire royal family, that any girl in the family who marries or gets engaged will die.
Aman and Kaya now panic on hearing this and decide to take help from an occult expert professor Pashupati. He takes them to a haunted theatre where some noble spirits may help them kill the evil spirit that holds the royal family’s curse. But the evil spirit tries to kill Kaya by burying her alive. Aman and his friend saves her. His friend is sent into the evil spirit world and he returns with an amulet, which they use to destroy the evil spirit. They get the clues that only after dissolving the mortal remains of the spirit will she die. Thus they destroy the spirit and Aman and Kaya get married and have a daughter.
The movie is directed and produced by Vikram Bhatt and co-produced by Manmohan D Singh. The music is composed by Chirantan Bhatt.
