Shakuntala is an Emotional-Romantic-Historial-Musical-Thriller Family Drama Film crafted with excellence by Shantaram Rajaram Vankudre. The Story revolves around the life of Shakuntala (played by Jayshree) is the daughter of sage Vishwamitra and Menaka, but is brought up by the sage Kanva. She meets King Dushyanta (played by Chandra Mohan) when he comes there for a hunt. The two fall in love and get married, with Dushyanta staying with her. Soon he has to leave and he promises to come back for her. Things get complicated- when he forgets her and she fights for her rights, leading to consequences.
