Shankar hails from a poor family and is hardworking. He however cannot stand injustice against the underprivileged and less fortunate and always stands for their rights. A middle class girl named Rani falls in love with him and soon the two decide to marry. However Shankar has many admirers and one of them is wealthy industrialist Arjun’s daughter Anita, who wants him at any cost. Meanwhile Shankar learns of the illegal activities and dubious trades of Arjun under the guise of business and politics and is heel bent on exposing him. This news reaches Arjun who is furious and wants Shankar out of his way for good, thus hires a powerful hitman named Dhaga, who has never missed a target.
The film is directed by Vinod Dewan and produced by T C Dewan. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri and the screenplay is by Humayun Mirza. The star cast includes Mithun Chakraborty, Meenakshi Sheshadri,Mandakini,Juhi Chawla, Girija Shankar, Kader Khan and Mohan Choti.
