The story of Shaurya involves the murder of an Army officer by another and the resulting court marshal. Reporter Kavya learns of the case where Capt. Javed shoots Major Rathore after a brief argument. Meanwhile officers Akash and Sid are the prosecuting and defense lawyers respectively for the case. Kavya makes an attempt to speak with Javed but is refused by officials. Sid arranges a meeting with Javed to get a better understanding of the trial and of Javed himself. Javed gets infuriated with Sid’s immaturity and remains silent after a while.
Sid confides in Akash who tells him that Javed is most likely guilty and this case should be an easy one. Later Kavya approaches Sid who brazenly tries to flirt with her and makes up his own stories to impress her. However she gets angry and reminds him that he should be more responsible and think about the implications on another person’s life. Later they warm up to each other and she promises to help him out. During the first trail Sid declares Javed as not guilty to everyone’s surprise. Javed seeing Sid’s efforts opens up to him and giving him crucial documents stating his innocence.
Ultimately Sid after all his harwork and dedication to the case with the help of Kavya, presents a strong case on the final day of the trail. The judge declares Javed innocent, and he in turn acknowledges Sid as a genuinely good officer. The movie is directed by Samar Khan and produced by Haresh Dayani. The music is composed by Adnan Sami.
