Widowed Kunti lives a poor but religious life with her two sons Sarju and Bhiku and their respective wives Dayawanti and Bhagyawanti. The latter has a girl named Kamli while Dayawanti is expecting her first child. Kunti one night sees Maa Sheetla Devi in her dreams, who instructs her to dig up a plot of land where an idol is buried and construct a temple there. Kunti the next day, instructs her sons to carry out the task. The land belongs to the zamindar so Bhiku goes to him for permission but is denied. He backs out but Sarju does not. He goes to the land at night and digs out the idol. When the zamindar comes to know of this he is furious and blacklists Sarju, his wife and daughter. Sarju then leaves the village to collect donations for building the temple. He returns with the money and finally constructs a beautiful temple only to be blown up in pieces by the zamindar. This culminates the wrath of Maa Sheetla Devi. The film is directed by Rajpati and produced by Ram Gopal Gupta. The music is composed by Sapan Jagmohan. The star cast includes Satish Kaul, Neera, Sudhir Dalvi, Bhagwan and Rajnibala.
