Gaurav Gupta, played by Ajay Devgn, is a successful businessman, who is obsessed with making money and becoming extremely successful, and can go to any lengths for it. He once decides to build a tower in a remote village at any cost with a little help from a corrupt politician named Amrit Patil. The owner of the propsed land is Shrikant Patil and he staright away refuses the tower to be built. Thus, Gaurav finds another way to get his job done. He tempts Shrikant’s son Jaidev, played by Shahid Kapoor, who is also interested in getting rich fast to join his scheme.
Gaurav uses his girlfriend Natasha, played by Bipasha Basu to lure him and pretend like she is in love with him. Jaidev falls into their evil plan and now has no way of backing out. Gaurav and Natasha now begin blackmailing him. Jaidev now realizes his mistake and apologizes to his father and tries to fight back with Gaurav. In a fit of rage Gaurav tries to burn the plot of land and its inhabitants but Jaidev manages to save them and Gaurav and Amrit are arrested for their deeds.
The movie is directed and produced by John Matthew Matthan. The music is composed by Viju Shah. The cinematography is by A. K Bir.
