Bappu Ganesh, played by Upendra Limaye, is a dreaded and notorious mafia kingpin who gets a man John brutally killed in Mumbai. This is just one of his many victims. He has been spreading his violent wings all across the city and mercilessly and unforgivingly slaying people who object to his ideals and wishes. He gets more and more powerful as time passes by until he gets the ultimate power in the city. Bappu manages to become the CM of Maharashtra and plans to embezzle the state’s money.
Meanwhile Bappu’s men have also killed Shiva’s parents mercilessly. Shiva, played by Mohit Ahlawat is a slum dweller and lives a very tough life full of struggles. He has vowed to take revenge for his parent’s death and finish off Bappu once and for all. He then hatches a plan to bring all of the people of Dharavi, which is the world’s largest slum, to go against Bappu and end his tyranny forever.
The movie is directed and produced by Ram Gopal Varma. The music is composed by Ilayaraaja and the cinematography is by Amal Neerad.
