Shankar is a small time crook who has been through many struggles in life. One day when his young son is critically sick he rushes him to a doctor, but the latter refuses to see him and this leads to the death of his son. Shankar is now filled with rage and revenge and goes to the Doctor’s house. He then abducts his son Shoorveer and sells him to a notorious gangster Iqbal, to be turned into a beggar. One day however Shoorveer saves the life of Iqbal when he is having an epilepsy attack. This changes Iqbal’s mind and he starts brining up Shoorveer as his own son. He then falls in love with a doctor’s adopted daughter named Meena. However things don’t go as planned and life wont be as easy for Shoorveer and Shankar.
The film is directed and produced by Sham Ralhan and the music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The story is written by Madan Mishra and the screenplay is written by Tarun Ghosh. The star cast includes Suresh Oberoi, Danny Denzongpa, Rajan Sippy, Mandakini, Kader Khan, Rakesh Bedi and Deepti Naval.
