Priya, played by Sonali Kulkarni is a young beautiful and confident woman who gets married in a traditional ceremony. Everything is blissful in Priya’s life until her world comes crashing down in an instant. Her husband dies and she is left a widow. Tragedy and isolation is now something that Priya has to learn to live with for the rest of her life. She is ostracized from the society and thus finds solace in the land of the widows. There too she does not find complete peace as there are cruel people with evil intensions everywhere.
Just when Priya thinks that there is no end to her misery she meets three remarkable women who are suffering just like her but choose not to be victims of their circumstances and fight back. She gets a vast amount of confidence and empowerment by meeting these women. This is a story of women’s bravery and will to fight back in a brutal and harsh world full of meaningless traditions.
