Singh Saab, played by Sunny Deol is an honest and humble man. He has always been true to his generous nature and helped those in need, making him like a messiah for the impoverished. One day he hears of Jatta Singh, played by Shabaz Khan refusing to give food to the needy, so he politely requests him to do so. An enraged Jatta, attacks Singh Saab, but Singh doesn’t retaliate as it’s Gandhi Jayanti, 2nd October, non-violence day.
A TV reporter questions Singh’s humble and noble nature, so he tells her all about how it started. He tells her about how his life took as drastic turn 7 years back, when his name was Saranjeet Singh Talwar. He was traveling with his wife to Badhori where he was transferred as a tax collector. He comes across a gangster Raja Dadta Bhudhev Singh, played by Prakash Raj who is corrupt and has a huge excise amount pending and asks him to pay. Bhudev refuses and warns of dire consequences if he doesn’t back off.
Meanwhile Singh’s wife is poisoned and hospitalized. Bhudev, asks Singh to release the orders of his factory in return for the surgeon who will operate on his wife. Sadly it is too late and his wife passes away. Singh attacks and kills Bhudev and gets sentenced to 16 years in prison. On returning he is determined to make the society a peaceful and better place to live in.
The movie is directed by Anil Sharma and produced by Anuj Sharma and Sangeeta Ahir. The music is composed by Anand Raj Anand and Sonu Nigam.
