Sanjana Singh is a novelist and editor who has written many books from women’s point of view. Her books have always been a reason to create some or the other controversy. She mostly makes the women of her novel very sexually active and free. This doesn’t go down well with many social activists and other governing lawmakers. Especially in a male dominated society such a liberty is frowned upon.
Sanjana’s latets novel Six X is the story and lives of six women. This controversy goes out of hand and starts a whole new set of problems. Some political parties use this as fodder for dispute and bring it up. Several Mahila Mandals stage protests banning the novel and some even threaten Sanjana. Media has the last say in this, presenting their news with full spice and gossip to keep the tabloids selling.
The movie is directed by Chandrakant Singh and produced by Sandeep Shukla. The music is composed by Ankit Harshit and the singers include Madhushree Bhattacharya and Archana Salil. The movie’s star cast includes Ashmit Patel, Sofia Hayat, Riya Sen, Neha Dhupia, Rajesh Sharma, Shweta Tiwari,
and Rituparna Sengupta.
