Viren, played by Abhay Deol meets Aditi, played by Ayesha Takia as their marriage is being arranged. However Viren loves his girlfriend Karen and refuses the arranged marriage to Aditi. Aditi’s family feels insulted. One day Viren and Aditi coincidentally meet each other and become friends. He tells her about her girlfriend Karen who is a catholic. So they travel together to Goa to meet Karen. Aditi and Viren start becoming very close. Eventually Viren realizes that he has fallen in love with Aditi.
Aditi who is also in love with Viren doesn’t tell him as her family is upset with Viren’s family and has fixed her engagement to her ex boyfriend Mahesh. Karen now knows that Viren is meant to be with Aditi and tells her not to marry Mahesh but marry her love Viren. Both of them apologizes to their respective families and decide to tie the knot.
The movie is directed by Imtiaz Ali and produced by Dharmendra. The music is composed by Sandesh Shandilya. The cinematography is by Ravi Yadav.
