Pinu Patel, played by Vinay Pathak runs his successful restaurant in central London called ‘Gaylord’. The Indian born Pinu has been raised in London and has always dreamed of becoming the number one restaurateur and he is seeing his dream finally coming true. His only issue in life is that he has never really been with a woman and is a virgin. To make matters worse he has no real friends either. He thus decides to go the arranged marriage way and goes to India to marry Payal, played by Snigdha Pandey.
On their wedding day however, Pinu’s life comes to a standstill when he finds out that Payal has eloped and is nowhere to be found. She leaves a note behind humiliating Pinu and his personality. This deeply affects him. None the less he moves on and gets busy with his restaurant business. One day a man called Kamlesh comes to find a job at Pinu’s restaurant. Hesitantly he hires him to cook as well as do a comedy act in the evenings. He also hires Renu, played by Gul Panag as a new cashier who is an art student and good in drawing caricatures.
The restaurant is suddenly transformed and becomes more popular. Pinu gets a thought one day that he might be gay. So to prove himself otherwise, he goes in search of a woman but gets more embarrassed by the rejections. Finally he realizes that he is in love with Renu and proposes to her and she accepts.
The movie is directed by Parvati Balagopalan and produced by Idream Productions. The music is composed by Sagar Desai.
