Subah-O-Shaam is a hindi film of the action-romance genre. This hindi movie was directed by Tapi Chanakya and produced by B. Radhakrishna. Also,this film’s music was given by Laxmikant-Pyarelal and lyrics were written by Anand Bakshi. The soundtrack included various legendary singers such as Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Kishore Kumar and Mohammed Rafi who gave their melodious voices in the following songs: ”Chhorh Mujhe Peene De”, “Saaqi Ki Zaroorat Hai, Na Jaam Ki Zaroorat Hai”, “Teri Meri, Meri Teri Nazar Lad Gayi”, “Tumko Mubarak Ho Yeh Shaadi Khaana-aabadi” , “Meri Biwi Jahan Se Niraali Hai” and “Mere Laal Aaj Tera Janmadin Hai” This hindi film’s story mainly revolves around Aarun (Mohammed Ali Fardin)who falls in love with a beautiful and elegant dancer named Shirin(Waheeda Rehman) who faces severe disapproval from the society because of her profession. In order to protect Shirin, Aarun and his brother Naseer(Sanjeev Kumar) tell a lie to their mother about her profession. Further, when the truth unravels, Aarun’s mother calls off the marriage of her son with Shirin with a belief that Shirin had rejected him and forces him to marry Nazneen. After several years, Aarun and Nazneen’s son named Romil(Paiman) forms a close friendship with Razzaq(Rafiee) who is a boy who was raised without a father. Later, when Aarun visits Razzaq’s house and gets shocked to discover that Razzaq is his and Shirin’s son. Then, Aarun seeks his mother’s approval and convinces her to accept Razaaq as her grandson. This hindi film concludes itself with Aarun’s emotional path of accommodation as he is now able to bring in his wife Shirin and Razaaq in his family by healing the wounds of the past by embracing the eternal love and acceptance.
