Kishen is the son of a zamindar. He is tortured by his step mother and her brother who soon plan to kill him. To save himself he runs away and lives by himself. Soon he turns into a notorious smuggler and somehow reaches his own estate. He meets his siblings but is unable to reveal his identity due to his dark past. His siblings Meena and Vijay have been living in an oblivious state and leading a carefree life. He then decides to change his ways and gets the smugglers arrested. HE then reunites with his family in an emotional union.
The film is directed by K Bapaiah and produced by G A Sheshagiri Rao. The music is composed by R D Burman. The star cast includes Asho Kumar, Jeetendra, Vinod Khanna, Zeenat Aman, Jayaprada, Bindiya Goswami, Asrani, Ranjeet, Sanjeev Kumar, Mukri, Mac Mohan, Sujit Kumar and Kamini Kaushal.
