Ravi Malhotra is an honest man and in love with Mohini. A day before their wedding, Mohini and he family come to know that Ravi has been shot by the cops and is accused of possessing drugs. He is then tried in court and gets a sentence of four years in prison. Mohini who believes that Ravi is innocent decides to wait for him. In prison, Ravi studies law and learns from the inmates that the cop D’Costa who shot Ravi is a concern for others as well. He waits patiently to take his revenge on the inspector. Then D’Costa sees Mohini and is attracted to her. He gets friendly with her and lusts for her. When Ravi completes his sentence he marries Mohini but D’Costa still dreams of her. There is a possibility that D’Costa might become the next ACP. This worries Ravi and Mohini, as then their lives will become a living hell.

 

The movie is directed by Bharat Rungachary and produced by Mahendra Bohra. The music is composed by Anu Malik. The screenplay and dialogues are written by Bhushan Banmali. The cinematography is by Laxminarayan. The star cast includes Sunil Shetty, Sonali Bendre, Ishrat Ali, Shafi Inamdar, Tiku Talsania, Mohan Joshi, Ajit Vachani, Naseerudin Shah, Sudhir Dalvi, Rakesh Bedi, Mukhtar Khan, Promod Moutho, Sameer Khakhar, Kunika and Himani Shivpuri.
