Lajwanti aka Lajji, comes from a middle class family in Bikaner and moves to the city. She stays with a top model named Namrata. Lajji is in aw of Namrata, as she lives a carefree and happy-go-lucky life. She is also having a live-in relationship with her boyfriend who is also a top model. Lajji is forced by her parents to get married to a well educated man. Unfortunately he dies on the day of their wedding and she becomes a widow. Her brother-in-law tries to seduce her but she decides to leave everything and goes back to her parents house. Soon she realizes that her parents treat her as a widow and are discriminating against her.
Namrata meanwhile comes to Lajji’s rescue and takes her back to Mumbai. Soon she gets a lucrative job and meets a wealthy boy named Rahul. They start dating and Lajji reveals her past to him. Hearing her story, Rahul is not very happy as he knows his family will never accept Lajji in their house. Things take a drastic turn eventually.
The movie is directed by Jay Prakash and produced by Vimal Jain. The music is composed by Kishore Sharma and Ashotush Dhru. The star cast includes Parvin Dabas, Gajendra Chouhan, Tara Deshpande,Ellora Patnaik, Avinash,Pankaj Berry,Booby Punia,Anil Nagrath,Vanatun Vaardaan,Rajendra Gupta and Neelu Kohli.
