Tara, played by Rekha Rana lives a blissful and contented life with her husband. Her husband has a small business of brewing alcohol which gives them enough to live a comfortable life in the village. Their life is not very extravagant but its peaceful and without any controversy. Things however take a different turn when her husband is asked to make a brew a batch of more alcohol than the usual. It’s a risky assignment but he must do it to earn a little extra cash, which the family desperately needs at this point.
Tara and her husband almost get done with the consignment and are about to deliver it when things go wrong and the police get a alert about the illegal job that is taking place. Tara’s husband is arrested and thrown into jail. Tragedy strikes when least expected. She is now left to fend for herself. With no money and no means to earn a living, Tara takes drastic measures to keep her household running. She even sells all her gold jewelry to make ends meet. The message of the movie is clear and simple, ‘it’s the survival of the fittest’.
The movie is directed and produced by Kumar Raj. The star cast includes Rohan Shroff, Brijesh K Kori, Rekha Rana, Sapna P Chuobisha, S C Makhija, Rohit Raj, Ashish Salim, Ujjwala Shikhare and Archana Tendulkar. The cinematography is by Suresh Beesaveni and choreography is by Jyotika. The music is composed by Prakash Prabhakar and the singers include Smita, Prakash Prabhakar, Pamela Jain and Shahid Maliya.
