Sethji is a widowed wealthy businessman who lives a lavish life with his daughter Hansa, her husband Ranhul and his grandchild. Their business is running smoothly thanks to the assistance of Rahul and Sethji’s nephew Dinesh. Soon they come to know that Dinesh is trying to create some kind of chaos in the business for his own profit. Thus Rahul and Sethji get him out of the business without him suspecting a thing.
Soon Sethji’s health deteriorates and he passes away. Sadly Hansa takes her life too. This baffles everyone and leaves Rahul
devastated. Meanwhile after a few months, Rahul is said to be having an affair with the house maid Janki. Hansa’s suicide turns out, might not have been a suicide at all. Things between Rahul and his in-laws change drastically. The film is directed by Raveekant Nagaich and produced by S Krishnamoort. The star cast includes Amol Palekar, Smita Patil, Om Puri, Shreeram Lagu and Girish Karnad.
