3 brothers, who are separated for many years, come together after their grandfather’s will comes into the picture. The eldest is Chixie Gill, played by Om Puri who owns a shop. He has 3 daughters who are overweight and due to this he is unable to find a groom. The second brother is Happy Gill, played by Deepak Dobriyal is a terrible dentist with a huge line of creditors. He loved Gurleen Kaur, played by Ragini Khanna in his younger days but now they got separated.
The youngest of the brothers is Fancy Gill, played by Shreyas Talpade, is a struggling actor and dreams of going to Hollywood someday. He however, only gets measly roles in Punjabi cinema where he adds his bizarre English dialogues and mostly gets thrown out. As per their grandfather’s will, after his death the three brother’s have to come together for 3 years to celebrate his death anniversary. On not doing so the cabin which is worth Crores will be forfeited.
As per the will, the ashes of the grandfather will be taken care of every year by each son beginning from the eldest and moving on to the youngest. They somehow fulfill the grandfather’s wishes well for two years but the third year brings lots of challenges and struggles. Thus, during the whole process the three brothers come close and get to know each other much better. The movie is directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and produced by Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra, PVR Pictures, PS Bharati and Rajiv Tandon.
