Radhe, played by Salman Khan is a ruthless and violent man. Although he is aggressive with people he is still compassionate and kind to the ones in need. He falls in love with Nirjara, played by Bhumika Chawla, who is a student of his former college. He sees her going to college with friends and is besotted by her innocence. She however ignores him. One day he beats up a brothel owner but when Nirjara comes in front of him he stops and the owner escapes. One day he helps Nirjara’s elder sister Mamata who is almost tricked into becoming a prostitute as she goes to take a loan from the same brothel owner. Mamata later tells Radhe that her husband has been harassing her for money. Radhe in a fit of rage goes to her husbands office and warns him to not trouble her anymore. He does all this without knowing that Mamata is Nirjara’s sister.
Nirjara’s fiancé Rameshwar sees all this and tells her that Radhe is a good man and loves her. Radhe not knowing what else to do kidnaps Nirjara and tells her to accept his proposal but later out of guilt lets her go. She falls in love with him. Meanwhile the brothel owner attacks Radhe with his goons, severely injuring him. He suffers from brain damage as a result of the attack. He is admitted into a mental institution. Nirjara sees his condition in the institution and is depressed. Radhe’s brother tells her to marry Rameshwar. On her wedding day Radhe escapes the institution, making a full recovery to meet Nirjara. But unfortunately she has committed suicide and Radhe goes back to the mental institution.
The movie is directed by Satish Kaushik and produced by Sunil Manchanda and Mukesh Talreja. The music is composed by Himesh Reshammiya and Sajid-Wajid.
