Maahi is a 15 year old school girl who is pampered and brought up in a wealthy household. She is friends with Kabir who has a humble upbringing in a middle class family. The two get close and start falling in love. On a school trip on New Year’s eve, Kabir and Maahi get intimate, which results in her getting pregnant. The couple is scared and worried but decide to keep the child. When their parents find out they are furious and ask them to abort the child. The couple elopes and the parents start looking for them.
The young couple’s friends help them to hide in an isolated location. Kabir starts to work at a construction site while Maahi secretly sells fruits and takes care of the house. Their parents over hear their friends and get to their location. One the way back to their homes, Maahi goes into labour and delivers a baby boy. Kabir is arrested for being a minor and sent to a remand home for 3 months.
The movie is directed by Satish Kaushik and produced by Bharat Shah and Anupam Kher. The music is composed by Sachin-Jigar, Anu Malik and Bappi Lahiri.
