Ram is a hard working and sincere man who lives life on his own terms but is very helpful to the poor and underprivileged. One day he accidentally hurts a stray puppy on the road with his bike. Feeling remorseful he takes the puppy to a vet and later adopts him as his own. He loves the dog and named him Moti and treats him like his own child. One day Ram meets a beautiful village belle named Bijli and falls in love with her. Meanwhile he clashes with evil men Thakur and his men Munim and Sardari. One day Ram asks Moti to guard Bijli and leaves for some work. Fed up of the constant guarding, Bijli locks and chains Moti. Unfortunately Thakur and his men come to rape her. Not letting them have their way, Bijli kills herself.
When Ram returns he is devastated and whips Moti for not guarding her. However he is told that she herself chained him. He begs for his forgiveness and goes to take revenge from Thakur and his men. Ram too gets brutally strangled and killed. Moti slowly remembers all the torture and violence inflicted on his master and his girlfriend and attacks Thakur, Munim and Sardari killing them for their evil acts. He then lies next to Ram’s grave weeping to be with him. The film is directed by Vijay Reddy and produced by K C Bokadia. The music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The star cast includes Jackie Shroff, Raj kiran, Poonam Dhillon, Sapana, Asrani, Satyen Kappu, Sadashiv Amrapurkar and Amrish Puri.
