Rahul Ravindra directed and scripted the upcoming romantic drama “The Girlfriend". The emotional love story will have lead roles by Rashmika Mandanna and Dheekshith Shetty, produced by Vidya Koppineedi & Dheeraj Mogilineni. We are expecting to see a genuine performance and a well-meaning story from this film.

Rashmika is a beautiful college girl going through college life and dating all ups and downs of hearts… dating her would be Dheekshith Shetty, their prerogative is passionate and turbulent. The teaser of the movie shows glimpses of their love as well as conflicts and hence hovering anxiously as it's going to have more than a one-layer plot.

The most notable of “The Girlfriend” is its teaser itself, which begins with a captivating voice-over from Vijay Deverakonda. Fanned the flames, it already has a funny feel planted in fan’s minds. Charm will still be there in Dheekshith Shetty as Rashmika plays a young woman who has their hands full of love, heartbreak and selfhood.

The film with music by Hesham Abdul Wahab and cinematography by Krishnan Vasant is set to deliver an emotional visual treat that will make you smile. Ultimately, in a meaningful way, Rahul Ravindran's direction weaves romance, drama and introspection.
