Krish, played by Aamir Bashir is married to Meera, played by Sandhya Mridul. Their marriage has hit rock bottom and is going through immense pressures of career, parenthood, finances, recession, lack of intimacy, etc. As a result, their relationships just isn’t what it used to be like before. Giving it one more shot and hoping for a miracle to say the least, the couple decide to go on a road trip to Goa. While there they are also seeking the great Indian Butterfly which according to ancient belief, grants happiness and peace to the person who catches it.
In the fragile hope of finding the very elusive and rare butterfly the couple go to the most remote part in its search. What they end up getting instead is some quality time and a lot of emotions that had been hidden for a very long time. Meanwhile there is also hostility between Krish and Meera over the former’s apparent affair with his ex-girlfriend. Finding the butterfly may just be an excuse to find something else that has been dormant within the couple.
The movie is written and directed by Sarthak Dasgupta and produced by Sanjay Gupta and Parth Arora. The cinematography is by Shanker Raman.
