There have been reports about a psychotic serial killer, who uses taxi drivers who drive them around while he kills his victims and then finishes off the drivers themselves. It has happened in Malaysia and recently in Hong Kong. Now in Dubai a seemingly unaware and blissfully carefree taxi driver Nikhil Joshi, played by Emraan Hashmi is working hard to make a comfortable living for himself. He is madly in love with a cabaret dancer named Rhea, played by Nisha Kothari. They both are ready to go to any lengths for their love.
Their life seems to be rosy and full of bliss until one day a business tycoon named Vikram, played by Irrfan Khan hails his taxi. He holds Nikhil hostage and tell him to drive him to witnesses he has to kill as they are about to testify against a don named Jabbar. Nikhil is horrified to see one victim killed after another and begs Vikram to take another cab but he refuses. He then takes the drastic step to challenge the assassin and crashes his car and runs for his life to save the next victim to be killed by Vikram. Finally when Vikram is about to kill Rhea, he saves her and they are united and Vikram is shot by the police.
The movie is directed by Hasnain Hyderabadwala and
Raksha Mistry and produced by Mukesh Bhatt. The music is composed by Sajid-Wajid and the cinematography is by Sanjay Malkar.
