Ghote is an honest and hard working police inspector with Bombay police for many years. He lives a comfortable life with his wife Pratima, although she isn’t happy with a police man’s unpredictable and difficult life and wants a better future. He is currently investigating the death of a Parsi man called Perfect. Perfect was the secretary of a wealthy man called Heera Laal who has connections with the underworld. Ghote is a little upset that he has to investigate the case along with a Swedish forensic expect named Axel Swenson. Slowly Ghote and Zxel become friends and join forces to uncover one of the most complicated and twisted cases of their career.
The film is directed by Zafar Hai and produced by Wahid Chowhan. The music is composed by Richard Robins. The star cast includes Stellan Skarsgård, Naseeruddin Shah, Madhur Jaffrey, Amjad Khan and Ratna Pathak.
